The white giraffe by Lauren ST.John

This book is about the adventure of a girl called Martine Allen. The night she turn 11 was the night her parent died in a burning building. She then relocate to Africa with her grandmother who she never knew she had. When she arrives, she heard of a mystical legendary creature called the White Giraffe. Legend said that who ever ride this creature will have the power over all of the other animals. One stormy night Martine saw a bright glow outside of her window, she got curious and whent to follow the light. Suddenly she found the white giraffe half dead and she got really sad. She put her hand over the wound to cover it from the rain and a green glow appear! The wound had been completely healed and this is when Martine discover that she had the power to heal animals.The white giraffe stood up and give Martine a ride home. She named the girrafe Jemmy afterward and they lives happily ever after.
This book is quite babyish and the plot isnt very interesting. I dont recommend this book to people who are 10+ and especially not to adult, unless you really like giraffes or animals.
