This book is about a boy called Alem Kelo who is half Eritrean and half Ethiopian who came to England to seek asylum. It describes his ups and down when he was living with his foster family and with his foster sister Ruth who seems like a careless teenager but then turns out to be nice.
It's an easy and quick read and it's very interesting as well
